Mirror the job title in your resume headline.
If the role says "Senior HR Business Partner" — your resume headline should say exactly that, not "Experienced People Partner" or "Strategic HR Leader." ATS systems match keywords, and your headline is one of the highest-weight fields they scan. Use the company's exact language, not your preferred version of it.
This is especially important for roles at Zillow, Hitachi, and ZoomInfo — all of which use Workday ATS, which is keyword-sensitive and will surface or bury your profile based on title-field matching before a human ever sees it.
